Agile Project Management at NASA; PMI-Switzerland; Zürich

Agile system engineering requires a new way of thinking and operating. Flexibility, creativity, speed, and a new kind of leadership and communication, are only some of the characteristics needed for success. In 2008, NASA began a journey to look at systems engineering in a new way that they refer to as the Art and Science of systems engineering. While NASA is only starting to implement agile systems engineering on their project s and programs, what they have done is lead the way for defining the behaviors technical leaders need to be successful in this new environment and implementing ways to build these skills in their systems engineers.

The speaker Christine R. Williams is Director of Systems Engineering Leadership Development within the NASA Academy of Program, Project and Engineering Leadership (APPEL).

The event is organized by PMI-Switzerland  in Zürich and Lausanne.
