The strategic and operatonal plan of the SSSE has been reviewed prior to our annual general meeting. Some new inputs have been gathered and will be discussed on November 28th at 18h30 at Brasserie Federal (Zurich HB). Some committee members will meet in order to dicsuss the input. The Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW will be hosting the 4th European STAMP Workshop 2016 in Zürich, Switzerland, in collaboration with the MIT Partnership for a Systems Approach to Safety.
The Swiss Systems Engineering Day 2016 (SWISSED 2016) will take place at Kongresshaus Zürich again on Monday, September 12th 2016.
This year, international guests can indulge in almost a whole week of interesting topics, since SWISSED 2016 will be held in conjunction with the 4th European STAMP Workshop (Tuesday, September 13th until Thursday, September 15th 2016). STAMP intruduces a systems approach to safety and security.
A tour of the Pilatus Aircraft works near Stans has been arranged for Friday 19th August from 14.00. We will have the opportunity to look around the facilities as well as get a close up look at some of their aircraft designs, hopefully including the new PC-24 aircraft, which had its maiden flight last May.
